You can link to the iDetail App from another App using an OpenURL link. Currently only the ability to launch the installed iDetail app is supported. Future support will let you open a specific content item by including its ID in the OpenURL link.

Create the OpenURL link

To link to the iDetail app, an OpenURL link must be created in, and be accessible from, another App. When tapped, the link opens the iDetail App.

1. Install iDetail from the Apple App Store on your iPad and

2. Sign in to your organization or create a new organization

3. Add a URL text string link, with syntax based on the OpenURL scheme, to another iOS app:

   • to link to iDetail on the App Store: idas://?

   • to link to iDetail Reseller Tool Kit apps: resellers://?

   • to link to iDetail Tool Kit Apps or custom apps: contact
            support@idetailapp.com

     • Each iDetail Tool Kit app has a unique name

4. Tap the OpenURL link to launch the iDetail iOS app
