The slide locator is a graphic user interface in the iDetail iOS App for navigating between slides of a slide deck.

Overview

The slide locator is a “film strip” like representation of the slides in sequential order. The slide is displayed as a thumbnail with the title of the slide underneath the thumbnail.

Use

To access the slide locator you will need to first launch the iDetail iOS App, select a slidedeck from the Grid View, and then swipe up with a single finger. The slide locator will display.

Once the slide locator appears you will be able to navigate to a specific slide within the slide. Swiping right and then left to move between the slides in the slidedeck. Once you find the slide of interest, single tap that slide, and you will navigate to that slide. If there are less that 3 slides, the locator will be fixed since there is no need to move the slide right or left.

The current slide will be brighter than all the other slides. When you tap the slide thumbnail to navigate to, the slide selected will immediately display, and the slide locator will retract off the screen.
